Cheese, bacon and jalapeños…what could go wrong? This appetizer may pack the heat but it doesn’t pack the carbohydrates with only 7 G of carbohydrates per serving. 

Ingredients

  • 10 jalapeños
  • 1/3 cup cream cheese
  • 1/4 cup Mexican cheese
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped cilantro
  • 10 slices bacon
  • 1 tsp cumin

Directions

1.) Slice open jalapeños and remove seeds

2.) Mix cheese, cumin and cilantro

3.) Fill jalapeños with cheese mixture

4.) Wrap bacon around jalapeños

5.) Grill on high heat or bake in oven set to 450 until bacon is crisp

 
**Can substitute any shredded cheese**
